Bitters Builder Kit #2 - Cherry Vanilla, Jamaican Hibiscus, Ancash Inca Berry
Bitters Builder Kit #2 - Cherry Vanilla, Jamaican Hibiscus, Ancash Inca Berry
Description
This Bitters Builder Kit offers fruity and floral flavors from western Asia all the way to Central and Southern America. Cherry vanilla is a beautiful combination that pairs especially well with bourbon and brandy, and hibiscus is a sweet and tart treat redolent of cranberries. Ancash is a region in northern Perú, which is known in part for the Inca berries they cultivate there.
Inca berries are known by many other names, such as golden berries, cape gooseberries, poha, and Peruvian cherries abroad and locally as aguaymanto, uvilla, ushun, and uchuva. Inca berries are part of the Solanaceae plant family, which makes them relatives of tomatoes, eggplants, and tomatillos to name a few. The fresh fruit even comes wrapped in its own little jacket just like tomatillos.
This Bitters Builder Kit features the herbal ingredients needed to craft all three of these flavors. Recipes will require extra ingredients such as ginger, star anise, and vodka. Our Bitters Builder kits feature a printed booklet with recipes for bitters and cocktails to assist you on your DIY bartending journey.
Please make sure to consult your healthcare provider about what herbs and spices are safe for you to ingest if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any medications, or have any medical concerns.
