Some of the ways we try to reduce our impact on the environment.

• Reuse boxes and packing materials whenever practical.

• Select recyclable corrugated packaging for many of our kits.
• Minimize plastic packaging while meeting food safety guidelines.
• Use custom product boxes with 100% recycled content and select shipping boxes with high recycled content.
• Minimize heating and air conditioning power usage in our workshop through the use of a high-efficiency heat pump, efficient windows and doors, insulation, weather sealing, and a programmable thermostat.
• Offset 100% of our main workshop power needs with rooftop solar.
• Stock herbs that are organic, responsibly wild-harvested, or grown without pesticides when available.
• Support small herb and spice farmers around the world through Kiva microloans.
• Use washable fabric face masks, hair nets, and coveralls instead of disposable ones.
