Flavored Salt Rim Mixes

Salt blends to enhance your cocktails

We recommend using flaky sea salt, such as fleur de sel, kosher salt, or Diamond Crystal. These thin flakes of salt dissolve quickly on the tongue. Follow our salt rim instructions to get great results.

Lemon Turmeric Salt
  • 1/4 cup flaky salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • zest from one lemon in large strips

Combine the ingredients in an air-tight jar. Oil from the lemon zest will be absorbed by the salt, and it can be removed after a few days or left in the jar.

 

Raspberry Lime Salt
  • 1/4 cup flaky salt
  • 3 teaspoons raspberry powder (or freeze-dried raspberries crushed in a spice grinder)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice powder
  • zest from one lime in large strips

Combine the ingredients in an air-tight jar. Oil from the lime zest will be absorbed by the salt, and it can be removed after a few days or left in the jar.

 

Chili Lime Salt
  • 1/4 cup flaky salt
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1-2 teaspoons ground hot chili, such as cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake to blend.


Smoked Rosemary Salt
  • 1/4 cup smoked sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh or dry rosemary

For fresh rosemary, finely chop the leaves and blend with the salt. For dried rosemary, in a mortar and pestle, crush the leaves into coarse pieces; avoid grinding them too finely. Blend with the salt.
